|
| 2. What kinds of profits
do online gaming sites produce? |
The
typical casino/sportsbook makes anywhere from $10,000
to $100,000 in any given month. The profit number
can go into the millions or tens of millions per
month. Profits will be greatly affected and by the owner's marketing and promotional
efforts. In general, profitability depends on the
amount of traffic that is being driven to the site.
|
| 3. How do I know that my
profit is a correct reflection of the web site
activity? |
Our software's integrated online management system,
which you have access to, enables you to track and
verify every penny made within your operation. You
can even download the raw data to manually count the
money coming into your business. All
that is
required of you is a live Internet connection. Your
activity is also audited by a separate company on a
monthly basis.
|
| 4. How are payouts to players
made and what happens if my casino/sportsbook
shows a loss in a given month? |
Within
our turnkey and our NEW managed full license programs INETGaming handles all payouts to your players and
if you are "in the red" during a given month, INETGaming will cover any losing month for your business.
In our independently operated full license programs
it is up to the clients to handle payments to players
and cover losing months. Our full license programs
are designed for those business that are stable with their operations
or properly funded. Profit margins are
much higher in the full license program as INET does
not need to offset any risk with increased margins.
|
| 5. What is the estimated
timeline for completion of a casino/sportsbook website? |
The
typical turnaround time for a turnkey gaming site is
20 business days. For a full scale online and
offshore project the time is typically 3-6 months.
|
| 6. Why does it take 3-6
months to setup my full scale casino/sports/horsebook or
Poker web site? |
It
takes 3-6 months because we need to first register
your domain, then we have to build
your web site from the the smallest detail, set up your offshore company
and logistics, obtain your license, integrate your
software as well as your merchant processing,
obtain your dedicated phone number, contract your
support,
then we have to test it to make sure it all works.
|
| 7. Are there any legal ramifications
that I should be aware of ? |
INETGaming only works with and sets up gaming
operations in 100%
legal jurisdictions. To ensure further protection,
all transactions are completed offshore and payments
are made to your corporate account. Every precaution is taken to ensure that
your operation meets all legal requirements.
|
| 8. When would a casino become
profitable? |
That
all depends. Marketing is the key to success. What
is required is Internet traffic. Keeping in mind one
needs to spend money to make money. A reasonable expectation
would be to spend about USD $40,000-50,000 (including
the licensing fee) and there should be a return on
investment in approximately 6-9 months. Most online
casinos that are new spend about USD $5,000 - $50,000
each month in marketing. There are internet gambling
operations spending well over USD $1 Million per month
in their marketing budget. Some online casinos are
also doing well over USD $10 million per month in
PROFITS. Online gaming companies who
are spending money on
EFFECTIVE marketing are not losing money.
Do not think people just put down between USD $25
000 -$100,000 and expect to make millions in return.
You could have the greatest website in history but
if you don't market properly nobody will know you
even exist. INET's marketing clients get the key
exposure and performance from their marketing
dollars! Some
websites might tell you all you need is a $5,000
turnkey budget for your website and you will be
making tens of thousands of dollars once you open.
THAT IS A LIE! It is simply a sales tactic to get
you in the door. Marketing is all about how much you
want to make. If you are buying a $10,000 turnkey
package from us, we would suggest you have another
$10-15,000 set aside for marketing once you go live.
That overall budget should ensure steady traffic and
allow you to make back your entire outlay in under a
year. There is no magic bullet and anyone who tries
to sell you on spending $5,000 by telling you that
you will make it back in a month is simply out to
cheat you. Be VERY wary!
|
| 9. What is my risk of a
losing month? |
Most
online sportsbook and casino software programs have limits
on individual bets as well as limits on daily bets
to help manage risk.
In the online casino the games are set with
comparable house edges to those seen in Vegas. For example, if
a game's house edge is 3%, then for
every USD $1000 wagered, USD $970 is generally paid
back, leaving a profit (known as a "drop"
or "take") of USD $30 (3%). So, the odds
of multiple gamblers winning big in the casino is minimal. Not
because the games are fixed but rather they play on
the same house edges as your everyday Las Vegas
casino. We all know how Las Vegas casinos do!
With poker, the games are setup to obtain a rake out
of every pot or fee for every tournament entry. In
this way poker is a guaranteed profit game!
Sports wagering is where the
problems can arise if you are not properly managing
your risk. While sports do not work in a guaranteed
profit area based on wagering like poker or the
casino programs, sports can be setup so as to
guarantee a profit. The only difference is with
sports it requires additional services to guarantee
that profit (like our sportsbook arbitrage
services). In the end 97% of people who wager on
sports lose money. So, while there is more risk in
sports or horses than in the other products, the
risk is not that great and can be fully offset.
